How Types Interact in Friendship

Generator + Generator

A powerful friendship with abundant shared energy. Together they can spend hours on shared activities. Risk: competition for resources if both respond to the same things.

Generator + Projector

A classic combination: Generator provides energy, Projector provides wisdom and direction. Important: the Projector must wait for invitation to give advice, otherwise the Generator will feel managed.

Generator + Manifestor

Manifestor initiates ideas, Generator responds and executes. Potential friction: Manifestor may disappear without explanation, while Generator feels frustrated by unfinished projects.

Projector + Projector

A deep, intellectual friendship. Both see through each other. Risk: without Generators nearby, there may not be enough energy for shared activities.

Manifestor + Manifestor

A rare combination (8% x 8%). Respecting each other's space is key. Both value independence and understand the need for solitude.

Reflector in Friendship

A Reflector "samples" each friend's energy. It's important for them to have a diverse social circle and not depend on one person. A Reflector is the perfect barometer of friendship health.
