Solar Plexus (Emotional Center) — one of the nine energy centers in Human Design. An open Solar Plexus absorbs and amplifies the emotions of those around you. You may experience others' moods as your own and feel compelled to 'fix' others' emotional states to feel better yourself. Fear of conflict and avoidance of negative emotions are typical reactions. Your openness lets you feel the emotional climate of any space with great sensitivity. You can understand the depth of human experience even more clearly than those who are living it.

Not-self question
“Are you avoiding truth or difficult conversations to keep others happy or maintain good vibes around you?”
Wisdom of the open center
Your openness lets you feel the emotional climate of any space with great sensitivity. You can understand the depth of human experience even more clearly than those who are living it.
Practical tips
- 1Learn to distinguish: 'Is this my emotion or did I pick it up from someone else?' — spend time alone to check
- 2You don't need to fix others' moods — you're not responsible for others' emotions
- 3Be careful with people who consistently transfer their emotional waves onto you — it's draining

- Richard Rudd
- Ilse Sendler
- Lynda Bunnell
- The Golden Path

Solar Plex…
