Résolution des conflits selon le type de conception humaine : de la confrontation à la compréhension

Comment chaque type réagit au conflit et ce qui aide à trouver une résolution pacifique selon votre conception.

Conflicts Are Inevitable — But Resolution Can Be Healthy

Conflicts are a natural part of human relationships. The problem isn't the conflicts themselves, but how we resolve them. In Human Design, each type has its own characteristic reaction to conflict and its own way of resolving it.

By knowing the mechanics of conflict by type, you can not only resolve disputes more effectively but also understand yourself and others more deeply.

Generator in Conflict: Frustration as Trigger

The Generator's Not-Self theme is frustration, and it often becomes the cause of conflict:

  • Accumulated dissatisfaction — Generators endure for a long time, then explode
  • Sacral sounds — grumbling, sighing — the first signs of disagreement
  • Solution: ask the Generator a specific question — "Does this bother you?" Yes/no
  • After conflict — physical activity helps release tension

It's important for Generators not to ignore frustration — it signals that something doesn't align with your nature.

Manifesting Generator: Quick Flash

MGs react to conflict lightning-fast:

  • Instant reaction — words come out before the brain catches up
  • Quick cooldown — in 10 minutes they've forgotten what the argument was about
  • Solution: pause before responding; even 5 seconds helps
  • Inform — "I'm irritated right now; let's talk in an hour"

Projector in Conflict: Bitterness and Withdrawal

The Projector's Not-Self theme is bitterness, and conflicts often arise from lack of recognition:

  • Unsolicited advice — Projectors see the problem and want to "fix" others
  • Feeling invisible — "Nobody listens to me" = the start of conflict
  • Solution: recognize the Projector — "I see that you noticed this before anyone else"
  • Avoid criticism — Projectors are very sensitive to judgment

Projectors should ask themselves: "Was I invited to share my opinion, or am I imposing?"

Manifestor in Conflict: Anger and the Fight for Freedom

The Manifestor's Not-Self theme is anger:

  • Powerful conflict energy — Manifestors can be intimidating even unintentionally
  • Cause — usually someone has limited their freedom or is controlling them
  • Solution: give the Manifestor space — "Do what you think is best"
  • For Manifestors — inform in advance to prevent misunderstandings

Reflector in Conflict: Disappointment and Retreat

The Reflector's Not-Self theme is disappointment:

  • Absorbs others' emotions — can become a "sponge" for others' conflicts
  • Quiet withdrawal — instead of arguing, simply disappears
  • Solution: create a safe space — "Your perspective matters to me"
  • Give time — Reflectors need a lunar cycle for big decisions

Emotional Authority and Conflicts

If anyone in the conflict has a defined Solar Plexus (emotional authority), it's important to:

  • Not resolve conflict at the peak of emotions
  • Let the emotional wave pass — from anger to calm
  • Return to the conversation in a neutral state

Practical Steps

  1. Calculate bodygraphs for all conflict participants
  2. Identify each person's Not-Self theme — it hints at the root of the problem
  3. Use type strategy: response, invitation, informing, waiting
  4. Check emotional authority — is this the right time for the conversation?
"Conflict isn't the enemy. The enemy is not knowing your own nature and the nature of others."
