Reflector: Mirror of the Community

Reflectors are the rarest type, less than 1% of the population. They have no defined centers at all, making them extraordinarily sensitive to their environment. A Reflector literally mirrors the health of the community they're in.

The Reflector's strategy is to wait a full lunar cycle (28 days) before major decisions. The Moon transits through all 64 gates, and the Reflector experiences each of these energies sequentially.

Environment Is Everything

For a Reflector, the most important career choice isn't "what to do" but "where and with whom." When the environment is healthy, the Reflector thrives. When it's toxic, they fade first.

• Healthy environment: the Reflector feels upliftment, clarity, surprise and wonder (their signature)
• Unhealthy environment: disappointment (not-self theme), invisibility, identity confusion

How to Choose the Right Workplace

Before accepting an offer, visit the office or spend time with the team. Ask yourself:

• How do I feel around these people?
• Is there space for me to be different each day?
• Is my variability accepted as a strength here?
• Do I feel surprise and interest?

The ideal environment for a Reflector has diversity of people and energies, without pressure to be consistent.

Thanks to their ability to mirror and read their surroundings, Reflectors excel in:

• Assessment and auditing — they see the state of a system or organization
• HR and corporate culture — they sense collective health
• Journalism and research — objective reflection of reality
• Art — ability to mirror society through creativity
• Consulting — they spot problems insiders miss

Lunar Cycle and Career Decisions

A Reflector cannot make decisions in a day or a week. For significant career changes, a full lunar cycle is needed:

1. Receive the offer or idea
2. Over 28 days, observe how your attitude changes
