Mental authority is the only 'outer' authority. No center below the Ajna is defined, so there is no inner 'voice' for decisions. Instead, clarity comes from outside — through being in different environments, talking with different people, and noticing how you feel in each situation. Your body and environment are your authority.

Before making an important decision, change your environment or speak with several different people. Notice your body and thoughts in each context: where do you feel expansion, clarity, ease? Where do you feel constriction or anxiety? Your clarity is not in logic but in your body's response to the environment. Give yourself time and space.

Making decisions in a fixed environment or based on logic without changing surroundings is the trap of mental authority. You get stuck in your head, disconnected from your body. The not-self state is endless mental analysis without clarity.
