Channel 35-36: The Channel of Transitoriness
Gate 35 connects with Gate 36 (in the Solar Plexus), forming Channel 35-36 — The Channel of Transitoriness. This is one of the most emotionally intense channels in Human Design.
Channel 35-36 creates a person who seeks experience through emotional waves. They may feel deep longing for the unknown (36) and the drive to reach it (35). This is the channel of the traveler, artist, adventurer — someone who lives life fully.
Gate 35 and Emotions
Although Gate 35 is in the Throat Center, its connection to the emotional Solar Plexus (via Channel 35-36) means the drive for change often has an emotional nature. A person may feel:
- Emotional highs before new experience — excitement, anticipation
- Emotional lows after completion — "is that all?", disappointment
- Cycles of boredom and inspiration — wave-like movement between them
Important: if you have emotional authority, don't start new adventures on an emotional wave. Wait for clarity. Learn about emotional authority.
Gate 35 and Career
People with Gate 35 thrive in professions with variety and changing context:
- Travel, journalism, photography
- Art and creative professions
- Consulting (different clients and projects)
- Entrepreneurship (launching new ventures)
