What is Human Design?
Human Design is a system of self-knowledge that combines astrology, the I Ching, Kabbalah, the Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, and quantum physics. Created by Ra Uru Hu in 1987, it provides a unique blueprint of your energetic nature based on your exact birth data.

Using your birth date, time, and place, Human Design calculates the positions of celestial bodies at two moments: the moment of birth and 88 days before birth. These positions activate specific gates and channels in your BodyGraph.

The BodyGraph is your personal energetic map containing 9 centers, 36 channels, and 64 gates. Centers can be defined (colored) or undefined (white), showing where your energy is consistent or where you absorb energy from others.

Start with your Type and Strategy — this is the foundation. Then explore your Authority (decision-making tool), Profile (life role), and defined/undefined Centers.
