DOING THE GENETIC LAUNDRY

In looking at the 59 shadow, we see the essence of all the problems underpinning the social structures within our world. There is no more topical issue within the entire human genome. The 59' Gene Key, the 55th Gene Key and to an extent the 49th Gene Key are the places within our DNA where a complete transmutation is currently underway. (The timing of this shift and its longer-term implications are discussed more fully in the 55‘ Gene Key.) One of the biggest insights into the archetypes within our DNA comes from a close understanding of the pairing of Shadows, Gifts and Siddhis. We see that humans appear to be programmed in binaries, and that every Shadow has a partner. Because the 55th Gene Key is currently triggering a genetic shift in our species, the 59"? Gene Key (its programming partner) is doing the same. Whereas the 55‘ Gene Key is triggering individual awakening across our planet, it is the 59 Gene Key that is truly responsible for triggering planetary mutation at a genetic level. At its base level, the 59t Gene Key is about sex and reproduction. It represents the drive in human beings to multiply. As such it is an impersonal force that selects our potential mates for us. The reasons for being drawn to a particular person are complex, but essentially, we can be sure that our genes have their survival in mind! Most relationships are therefore not easy by design. There are also other reasons why human beings are drawn to each other that are rooted in a more spiritual domain — karmic reasons for example. However, from a universal point of view, whatever forces draw us together at a cosmic level must operate through our genetics and our biology, so all these different perspectives ultimately come together. Behind the 59t shadow hides a deep distrust of others and a core fear of relationships. This is the Shadow that makes the world a lonely place because despite the number of people there are around us most of the time, we rarely communicate with each other in real depth. As we explore the 59" Gift and siddhi, we will see what that really means. What is unusual about the 59 shadow is that the fear does not lie in the individual. It is in the aura between us. When you are alone the fear is not there, but as soon as another person comes into the same room as you, the fear of the 59th Shadow is there as a subtle undercurrent. It is even more amazing to consider why this fear exists at all — because it is the foundation of sexual attraction. This may come as a shock to many people, but the truth is that the moment you stop being afraid of someone, you transcend your sexual attraction to them. The fear provides the necessary friction that makes attraction possible. This is why the 59‘ shadow is the Shadow of Dishonesty. As long as we keep something of ourselves hidden from the other there is always something left for them to fear. It doesn’t necessarily mean conscious dishonesty. We are genetically disho... THE GIFT — Vitality it is the ability to balance youthfulness and wisdom — idealism with structure. It is all very well having a wonderful idea that will change the world, but without the realism of the 60th Gift, this idea will probably never amount to anything. Another synonym for the 60 Gift might be the gift of common sense. Common sense is inherent to all human beings, but it is lost whenever a person or society becomes too bogged down in frameworks and structures. It is through common sense that we human beings evolve and cooperate with creation efficiently and harmoniously. The power and potential inherent in this 60 Gift should never be taken for granted. People with the 60 Gift understand that for anything new to take root in the material world, it must follow certain laws. The main law of manifestation in the material world is based on structure. Innovation without structure simply will not last. The seed needs its hard shell to protect it and the river needs its banks to direct it. The 60' Gift is about creating strong banks to direct and funnel the energy for change into the world. To be realistic in the sense of this 60'" Gift means to understand that there is a great deal of red tape in the world and this has to be tackled. The classic metaphor for the role of this Gift is that of grafting a vibrant young shoot onto a powerful old rootstock. In this metaphor the 60" Gift is the rootstock, which represents the ability to work with the existing laws and traditions of the world and introduce change through them rather than in spite of them. People with the 60‘ Gift are masters of creating structures, whether mental, emotional or physical. These structures in themselves are holding stations for new ideas and energy, and as such are of less importance than the energy that comes through them. This is what the 60‘ Gift knows — it knows that the structure will eventually mutate or even die, but the inner spirit will move on and if necessary find a new structure to carry it. The 60' Gift is like the spaceship that takes man to the moon. Once man has reached the moon, the spaceship is no longer needed, but its creation allows other more advanced structures to evolve. To take this simile further, the Gift of Realism is about maintaining the balance between the idea of reaching the moon, and the huge physical and economical requirements needed to actually make that idea a reality. But the real essence of this Gene Key is about not losing perspective from either the idea side or the structure side. We have already seen how an over-reliance on the structural side ensures that most ideas are either bogged down and never happen, or else end up far from their original vision. The only thing needed for magic to occur is some form of a structure and an open mind! As we have also seen, there is a great capacity for magic in this 60" Gene Key and some may find it ironic that it is called the Gift of Realism.
