Ego Authority (Heart Center Authority) is one of the rarest authority types in Human Design. It is found only in certain Manifestors and Projectors who have a defined Heart Center without a defined Solar Plexus or Spleen.
The key principle: decisions are made based on "I want" or "I don't want." This is not selfishness — it is the mechanics of correct functioning.
How Ego Authority Works
The Ego Center (Heart Center) is the center of willpower, value, and the material world. When it serves as authority, a person must listen to what they truly want.
- Manifestor with Ego Authority — must inform others before acting on their "want"
- Projector with Ego Authority — must wait for invitation, then check: "Do I want this?"
