What is the most common Human Design profile?
The 1/3 Investigator-Martyr leads at 15.6%, but the top six profiles are nearly tied. Measured across 13,692 real charts in the HD Matrix corpus (hdmatrix.pro/en/research).
Measured on the subset of charts with a verified birth time (n=985 — profile depends on the Sun's line, so an approximate time makes the figure meaningless), the ranking is: 1/3 at 15.6%, 5/1 at 15.4%, 3/5 at 15.2%, 2/4 at 14.3%, 6/2 at 13.4% and 4/6 at 12.6%. Those six account for the overwhelming majority, while the remaining six profiles are each around 1.5–3%. Be sceptical of much higher figures quoted elsewhere: computing profiles over charts with unknown birth times (defaulted to noon) systematically inflates 2/4 — in our own data it drops from 16.6% to 14.3% once the time is verified.
