Where other crosses may operate through the mind, the throat, or the sacral, this one is raw nervous-system territory. The wave moves through you before you can name it, and long before you can decide what to do about it, it is already contagious.

The word contagion in the cross's name is deliberately clinical. Feelings here are not polite. They move like a virus through a room. You walk in carrying a mood, and without saying a word, the people around you begin to catch it. This is the design's central offering — and its central test.
