It speaks to the necessity of periodically rejecting the old order of values to make way for a renewed and more relevant principle. Revolution in this gate is not violent rupture but a discriminating re-evaluation — the burning away of what no longer serves emotional and tribal truth. It is the gate of the principled person who must, by nature, test the validity of what is held sacred.
The 6th Harmonic: The Line of Externalization
Line 4 — the 6th-level harmonic of the hexagram — marks the shift from the inner, personal foundation of lines 1 through 3 to the social, public arena. It is classically known as the Opportunist or the Net-Worker, and it concerns influence through connection.
