Centers — The Key to Personal Self-Care
Your bodygraph has 9 centers, each responsible for a specific aspect of life: emotions, communication, identity, intuition, pressure, willpower, and more. Defined centers (colored) work consistently and predictably, while undefined centers (white) are vulnerable to external influence.
Undefined centers need the most protection and care because they're where we take on conditioning from others.
Head (Inspiration)
Defined: you have a stable source of inspiration. Care: structure your ideas — write them down, organize them.
Undefined: you absorb others' questions and anxieties.
- "Empty mind" meditation — let thoughts pass without clinging
- Limit social media time — it overloads an open Head
- Ask yourself: "Is this my question or someone else's?"
Ajna (Thinking)
Defined: you have a fixed way of thinking. Care: accept that others think differently.
Undefined: you can see all sides of an issue.
- Don't try to have the "right" answer for everything
- Journaling — write out thoughts to separate yours from others'
- Rule-free creative activities — drawing, free writing
Throat (Communication)
Defined: you have a stable way of self-expression. Care: use your voice — sing, read aloud.
Undefined: you adapt to the communication style around you.
- Practice silence — not every thought needs to be spoken
- Writing instead of speaking for important decisions
- Don't force attention — your moment will come
G Center (Identity)
Defined: you know who you are. Care: stay true to yourself even under pressure.
Undefined: your identity is fluid and depends on environment.
- Choose the right place to live — environment shapes you
- Spend time alone to feel your true self
- Don't seek one "true" purpose — your purpose changes, and that's okay
Heart/Ego (Willpower)
Defined: you have stable willpower. Care: make promises carefully, because you keep them.
Undefined: you try to prove your worth.
- Stop proving your value — you're already enough
- Don't make promises under pressure — your will fluctuates
- Self-acceptance practices: affirmations, therapy, self-compassion
Solar Plexus (Emotions)
Defined: you experience emotional waves. Care: keep an emotional journal, notice cycles.
Undefined: you amplify others' emotions.
- Distinguish your emotions from others' — "Am I feeling this, or is someone near me?"
- Time alone after emotional situations
- Water rituals — baths, showers, swimming to "wash off" others' emotions
Sacral (Life Force)
Defined: you have stable work energy. Care: use your energy fully each day.
Undefined: you amplify others' sacral energy.
- Don't overwork — know your limits
- Go to bed before total exhaustion to discharge borrowed energy
- Rest is not laziness — it's a necessity
Root (Pressure)
Defined: you have stable adrenaline pressure. Care: structure your stress — deadlines help you.
Undefined: you absorb others' stress.
- Yoga and breathwork to release pressure
- Don't rush — others' stress isn't yours
- Nature and grounding — barefoot walks, gardening
Spleen (Intuition)
Defined: you have stable intuition. Care: trust the first bodily impulse.
Undefined: you hold onto what doesn't serve you.
- Practice letting go — people, things, habits that don't serve you
- Regular health checkups — without a stable Spleen, body signals are weaker
- Don't ignore discomfort — your body speaks quietly but importantly
Practical Steps
