Single, split, triple, quadruple — how Definition impacts life and relationships.
What Is Definition?
Definition shows how defined centers connect through channels — how self-sufficient you are.
4 Types
Single (~41%)
All defined centers connected. Self-sufficient system. Independent decisions. Challenge: understanding others need time.
Split (~46%)
Two groups of centers with a "bridge." You seek people who connect your parts. A partner with bridging gates feels like "home." Need processing time.
Triple (~11%)
Three groups. Need different people. One partner can't "complete" you. Better in teams.
Quadruple (~0.5%)
Four groups. Very rare. Need a large diverse circle of people.
No Definition (Reflectors)
No center defined — mirror of environment. 28-day Lunar cycle for decisions.
How to Find Your "Bridge"
With Split, note the Gates between groups. People with these Gates are attracted to you:

Where Split Definition Shows Up at Work
A teammate sends a quick Slack message: "Can you choose between option A and option B? I need it by 2 pm." People with single definition answer almost instinctively. A split definition person often can't. Not because they don't have an opinion, but because something in the body hasn't been activated yet. The defined centers form two clusters, and the channel linking them isn't theirs to access alone. So even with plenty of information, the system waits for a phrase, a tone of voice, a question from another person that suddenly lights up the missing piece. That colleague who drops by and says, "I was thinking about A because…" might be the input that makes the choice obvious. The decision isn't hard; it's gated.
This shows up in calendar structure too. Mornings tend to be sharper for split definition individuals than late afternoons, because sleep has recharged both clusters in parallel. By evening, one side often feels heavier than the other — a quiet fatigue that isn't about willpower, it's about the system asking for what it cannot generate internally.
What It Feels From the Inside
There's a recognizable ache: being halfway into a sentence and knowing the rest, but the rest lives in a part of you that isn't currently speaking. You can sense the other cluster "over there," like a light visible through a window you can't reach from where you're standing. Split definition people often describe this as wanting to ask a question they're not sure how to form, or feeling articulate about one topic and strangely blank about another they know they know.
Attraction is another tell. Certain people feel unusually easy to be around, not because they're charming but because being near them produces a sense of completion. Their defined centers seem to fit the gap. That "home" feeling the chart description mentions is less romantic flutter and more of an exhale — the body relaxing out of its constant low-level search mode. The same feeling can arrive at a conference table, in a book, during a conversation with someone met for ten minutes. The channel recognizes itself.
Common Misreadings and What to Try
The most common mistake is reading processing delay as indecision, or attraction as "the one." Split definition is mechanical, not destiny. A partner whose gates bridge the gap feels like home because the circuitry closes, not because fate picked them. The relationship still requires everything a relationship requires. People often also confuse the bridge with dependency — a partner isn't a crutch, they're a circuit. The system still does its own work in both halves independently.
A useful practice: notice which defined center in each cluster is quieter on a given day and let the louder one lead, rather than forcing both. When a decision has been on the table for more than a lunar cycle without clarity, treat it as a signal that the missing input is a person, not more information. Seek out someone whose language, perspective, or simply presence brings the second cluster online, then decide in their presence rather than after.
