This is the Gate of Change — also called Transitoriness or The Jack of All Trades — and it speaks to the human hunger for new experience. Wherever it lands in the BodyGraph, that part of your design starts knocking, asking, "Is there something more? Something different? Something I haven't tried yet?"
Gate 35 is the opening half of the Channel of Transitoriness (35–36), the only defined channel in the Solar Plexus that doesn't directly relate to emotional bonding. Its signature is movement itself — the appetite to begin, to taste, to sample, to leap into the unknown before the mind has a chance to talk you out of it.

At its highest, Gate 35 is openness. It is the courage of the traveler, the curiosity of the child, the willingness to say yes to a path you can't yet see the end of. It carries a generosity toward life — a recognition that nothing is permanent, and that this impermanence is a gift rather than a threat. When this gate is healthy, it produces people who are endlessly resourceful, adaptable, and able to find the lesson in anything.
At its lowest, Gate 35 becomes addiction to newness — a restlessness that can never be satisfied, a chronic dissatisfaction that mistakes motion for progress. The shadow here is the fear of being limited, the terror of being pinned down by commitment, circumstance, or routine.
The Emotional Wave Underneath
Because Gate 35 lives in the Solar Plexus, the change it seeks is never purely mental. It is emotional. It rides the wave. How to Ride It by Strategy & Authority
The mistake of this transit is initiating change because change feels urgent. Strategy exists precisely for this.
Generators and Manifesting Generators: Your work is to wait to respond. During Gate 35, the world will offer you a hundred new things — a new project, a new relationship, a new city, a new idea. Notice what makes your sacral light up. The change you respond to with a real uh huh will be the one that carries you. The changes you chase because of emotional restlessness will likely burn out before they begin.
Projectors: Wait for the invitation. Gate 35 can whisper that you need to reposition, rebrand, reinvent. Wait for someone to see you in the new shape and call you into it. Recognition is your authority's confirmation.
Manifestors: You can initiate — but inform. The wave of Gate 35 can make initiating feel compulsive. Pause. Inform the people impacted. Let the move come out of clarity, not impulse.
Reflectors: Wait a lunar cycle. Let the change pass through your mirror before you decide if it belongs to you.
The Gift and the Trap
Gate 35's gift is the willingness to be transformed. Its trap is the belief that transformation must be constant. The transit asks you to feel the hunger without being ruled by it. Let the wave move.
